San Dusky is a small stud, situated in Whitianga, some
might say, the capital of the Coromandel Peninsula. With beautiful
beaches, fishing aplenty & diving reserves, just to name a few.
Sound like a tourist brochure…….
San Dusky was established in 1995, it is now 6 years ago since
we brought Reckless Gold, having always been a dilute fan,
our search started for a stallion with breeding, looks and colour.
We think we have found this in Reckless Gold, and now that he has progeny on
the ground, we can see the results of our breeding program have been very worth while.
As our aim is quality, we only run a few mares, only choosing to breed them
every second year, we feel this way we are looking after our mares
and are able to spend a lot more time with the foals & youngsters,
an important time in their life, which all helps to make life much
easier for them and us.
